08/02/2002 (Agence Europe) - The rejection of the Oostlander Report by a small "Red-Green" majority is a bitter setback in the fight against the mafia and drugs, claims the CDU MEP Karl-Heinz Florenz in a press release criticising the vote on the report by Dutch Christian Democrat Arie Oostlander on the introduction of minimum EU legislation in terms of drugs trafficking and criminal sentencing for it (see EUROPE of 7 February, p.15).
