DRAGADOS, Spain's second largest construction group, is to make a friendly bid for all the capital of the Dutch firm HBG - HOLLANDSCHE BETON GROEP. Paid in cash, the operation, worth 756 million euro (or 21.25 euro a share), will make of the new group Europe's third largest in the construction and associated services business, behind France's VINCI and BOUYGUES with a turnover close to 11 billion euro (5.35 bn from DRAGADOS nd 5.47 bn from HBG) and a workforce of over 70,000.
