Contrary to what we stated in the article on the election of the Vice-Presidents of the European Parliament, Giorgios Dimitrakopoulos is a member of Nea Demokratia and the EPP-ED Group. As a reminder, Mr. Dimitrakopoulos has sat in the EP since 1994 and was, notably, rapporteur (with German Social-Democrat, Jo Leinen) for the IGC that prepared the Nice Treaty.
