Criticism against absence of parliamentary control over list of terrorist organisations

Brussels, 14/01/2002 (Agence Europe) - The NGO Statewatch shares the criticism voiced by the European Parliament's Committee on Citizens' Freedoms and Rights regarding the adoption by the Council, end December, of the list of terrorist organisations and common positions on freezing terrorist assets (see EUROPE of 9 January, p.12, and 3 January, p.6).
