EUR 9 million for the Ghanaian leasing industry

Brussels, 19/12/2001 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank (EIB) is awarding an EUR 9 million risk from risk capital resources for medium-term funding of the leasing sector in Ghana. The money will be used to buy material for industry, agri-food, mines, transport, tourism and possibly also small leasing operations. The leasing companies involved are Leasafric Ghana Ltd, General Leasing & Finance Company Ltd and Ghana Leasing Company Ltd. The EIB believes the loan will help make the...
