19/12/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Defence Ministers of eight European countries - Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Spain, Turkey, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Portugal - signed, on 18 December in Brussels, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the purchase of 196 military transport aircraft, Airbus A400M, to replace the C-130 Hercules and C-160 Transall.
