Bucharest, 19/12/2001 (Agence Europe) - The President of the European Parliament, Nicole Fontaine held a number of meetings in Bucharest on Wednesday, which touched on the subject of the Declaration of Laeken and Romania's accession perspectives to the EU (see EUROPE 15 December page 6) on the ideas put forward by Ms Fontaine at the Laeken Summit).
