GENERAL NEWS / (eu) eu/arrest warrant

10/12/2001 (Agence Europe) - During a brief debate on Monday afternoon in the plenary session on Italy's blocking of the European arrest warrant decision, Graham Watson (chair of the EP's Liberties Commission) hoped that an extraordinary JHA Council on Thursday would provide a solution but there has not yet been confirmation of any such meeting being convened.
