10/12/2001 (Agence Europe) - On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Nobel Peace Prize awarded to Burmese activist Aung San Suu Kyi, Commissioner Chris Patten paid tribute to her continuing action, and urged the "Burmese authorities to move swiftly towards democracy and to release the remaining political prisoners".
