Parliament approves Community contribution to world health fund

Brussels, 29/11/2001 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament approved, on Thursday in Brussels, the draft decision concerning the Community contribution of EUR 60 million to the World Fund to fight against aids, tuberculosis and malaria, which has just been created by the United Nations. However, it called for the text to be modified to mention that this amount corresponds to the contribution from 2001 and that future annual contributions will have to be decided by the budgetary authority...
