19/11/2001 (Agence Europe) - In an interview with the Greek daily Kathimérini on Sunday, Anna Diamantopoulou, European Social Affairs Commissioner, felt that the "Turkish threats" against Cyprus' access to the EU are a "threat against Europe". She described as "unacceptable" the threats made by Ankara to annex the northern part of Cyprus should the island join the EU without prior settlement of the problem of division.
