Brussels, 19/11/2001 (Agence Europe) - After a brief stopover in Brussels on Monday to chair the General Affairs Council, Louis Michel is, on his return from the Middle East, to head the European Union's Troika in Central Africa starting Tuesday. Notably accompanied by Commissioner Chris Patten, Mr Michel will begin the tour in Kinshasa. The Troika is then to move on to Angola and Zimbabwe on Thursday, to Burundi on Friday, and to Rwanda and Uganda on Saturday.
