19/11/2001 (Agence Europe) - A public hearing on Women and the Mediterranean is being held on 20 November at the EP in Brussels. The own-initiative report by Greek MEP Rodi Kratsa-Tsagarapoulou (Nea Demokratia) on "European Union policy towards Mediterranean countries in relation to the promotion of women's rights and equal opportunities in these countries" is the basis of the hearings.
