Brussels, 23/10/2001 (Agence Europe) - With the adoption of its own-initiative opinion on "The preparation of the 4th WTO Ministerial Conference in Qatar", the Economic and Social Committee calls for lessons to be drawn from the Seattle experience and for further negotiations to be begun in a spirit of openness, mutual consideration and transparency.
