Go-ahead for Leader+ aid in Andalucia and Extremadura

Brussels, 10/09/2001 (Agence Europe) - On Friday, the European Commission gave the go ahead for the LEADER+ programme in the Spanish regions of Andalucia and Extremadura for 2001 to 2006. Andalucia will receive EUR 129.7 million, including an EU contribution of EUR 86.5 million. The programme will support four Local Action Groups with priority given to initiatives that help young people into employment and equal opportunities for women.
