ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) information technology

French information technology services STERIA has aquired the lion's share of European information technology manufacturer BULL, via a share swap transaction. These activities represent a turnover of 750 million Euros for 2000 and employ a staff of 4,500. Thanks to this operation, STERIA hopes to obtain a pro-forma turnover of Euro 1.20 billion in 2001 and employ a staff of 10,000.
