British group KELDA- owner of YORKSHIRE WATER has aquired four companies belonging to the AMERICAN WATERWORKS company via its American subidiary AQUARION, for 233 million dollars. The activiteis of these companies generated a turnover of 47.3 million dollars in 2000.
