According to the Financial Times and the Welt am Sonntag, UNICREDITO ITALIANO and COMMERZBANK will be negotiating merger terms between them. The new establishment will change its name and be based in Brussels under the German presidency of Klaus-Peter Müller, the current Managing Director of COMMERZBANK.
