ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) chemicals

The ORGASYNTH group (turnover of 73.3 million Euros in 2000) has aquired, for an undisclosed amount, the Gas Oil Marker activities of the American ROHM AND HAAS COMPANY (turnover of approximately 7 billion dollars in 2000 and employing17,500 people). This acquisition should provide the French group with an additional annual turnover of around 10 million Euros.
