28/06/2001 (Agence Europe) - Following the success achieved by the EU online legal information services, the European institutions have just created a single access to the Community legal acts, the EUR-Lex portal. This concerns the first stage of an initiative aiming to regroup all of the legislative texts of the Union and to rationalise the environment in which they may be found online. The services offered are, for the most part, free.
