22/06/2001 (Agence Europe) - In Argentina, a new system for the conversion of the Peso is on the verge of seeing the light of day: the Senate approved, on Thursday, the draft law "bioconvertibility II" that foresees widening to the Euro the present parity set for the Peso with the Dollar. The Argentine Minister for the Economy, Domingo Cavallo, nevertheless set a condition for this operation, namely that the Euro returns to parity with the Dollar.
