Signing in Bourget of "memorandum of understanding" for 196 A400M transport planes by several EU countries and Turkey

Paris, 20/06/2001 (Agence Europe) - A memorandum of understanding on the development and acquisition of 196 A400 M transport aircraft (M for Military), the future European transport plane (ATF, or Future Large Aircraft/FLA), which should equip the airforces of nine European countries, was signed on 19 June, at the 44th aeronautics show in Bourget, by Defence Ministers from several European countries - Germany on condition of the approval by the Bundestag, France, the United Kingdom, Belgium...
