Luxembourg, 16/05/2001 (Agence Europe) - For the first time, the Court of Justice recognizes hospital liability in case of a medical accident due to a defective product, without the patient having supplied proof of blunder on the part of the personnel or hospital. A "revolutionary" ruling according to certain experts, even though it does not introduce general liability of hospitals in the provision of a service.
