In France, UNION SDA has announced the acquisition via FBA - FRANCO-BRESILIENNE DES SUCRES ET ALCOOLS - the joint venture that it owns with COSAN - of the Univale and Gas sugar refineries and distilleries. It thus increases its sugar production capacity to 3 million tonnes.
