EU welcomes formal establishment of Temporary Security Zone between Ethiopia and Eritrea

Brussels, 23/04/2001 (Agence Europe) - On 20 April, the Swedish Presidency published the following declaration on behalf of the European Union:

"The EU welcomes the formal establishment of the Temporary Security Zone (TSZ) on 18 April, as verified by the United Nations Mission in Ethiopia and Eritrea (UNMEE).
