20/04/2001 (Agence Europe) - The International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (International IDEA) and the Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy (IMD) are organising a conference in The Hague on 24 and 25 April on "Network Democracy: Enhancing the Role of Political Parties". Taking part, will be Eveline Herfkens, Dutch Minister for Development Cooperation, Martin Lee, Chair of the Hong Kong Democratic Party, Kasuka Mutukwa, Secretary-General of the South African Development Community Parliamentary Forum (SADC-PF), and Margaret Dongo, President of the Zimbabwe Union of Democrats.
