Brussels, 06/04/2001 (Agence Europe) - Last Monday, during the talks of the Special Agriculture Committee (SAC) on the reform of the Common Market Organisation (CMO) for cotton, The European Commission showed itself to be open to a suggestion from the Spanish Delegation concerning the mechanism for the reduction of aids in case of the exceeding of production quotas.
