Brussels, 20/02/2001 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission is organising a conference on the e-Economy in Europe, the 1 and 2 March 2001 in Brussels. More that 200 industrialists, entrepreneurs and academics will gather with representatives from the Commission, the European Parliament and the Member States. The aim is to raise a debate, in view of the Stockholm European Council, over the impact of new information technologies on industry and services, as well as on new economic development.
