The Belgian carpet manufacturer AWI - ASSOCIATED WEAVERS INTERNATIONAL will take-over, for around BEF 150 million, the assets and activities of the French company BALSAN and DALSAN, which had handed in their balance sheet last November. The acquisition of these two companies, which employ 225 people, will enable AWI to increase its turnover by 25% to BEF 11 billion.
