Brussels, 12/01/2001 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has just defined the types of projects that may benefit from Community assistance under Objective 2, in the East of England and Wales, until 2006. According to the two programming documents (Docups):
The region of East Wales will, by 2006, receive 121 million from the EU, and 181 million euro from the public authorities and private sector for: a) the development of SMEs; b) rural development; c) urban renovation.
The region o the East of England will receive 156 million euro from the EU, and 270 million from the public authorities and private sector, for: a) the creation of SMEs; b) aid to developing key locations, clusters/sectors; c) community economy regeneration.
