SANITEC, a Finnish manufacturer of bathroom equipment, spent GBP 82 million to buy CARANDON BATHROOMS (annual turnover of GBP 79 million with a workforce of more than 950 people). This operation enables SANITEC to become the second largest in the United Kingdom with a market share of 20%.
