12/01/2001 (Agence Europe) - The number of people seeking work in Spain, a country that has the highest unemployment rate in the European Union, fell to 9.18% of the active population last December as opposed to 9.78% one year earlier, it was announced on Wednesday by the Spanish Ministry of Labour.
