French LVMH has acquired GABRIELLE STUDIO, the American company that owns off-the-peg Donna Karan brands averaging $450 million. LVMH also hopes to acquire DKI - DONNA KARAN INTERNATIONAL (turnover $656 million in 1999), the operational subsidiary of Donna Karan. LVMH will be proposing $8.54 per share, giving the company a total value of $195 million.
