Brussels, 19/12/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commissioner for Industry, Erkki Liikanen, will propose, on Thursday, to the Commission to give the automobile industry until June 2001 to conclude a "negotiated agreement" on the standards for new car models with less aggressive shapes to pedestrians.
