Towards "panels" in Geneva on two trade disputes

Geneva, 25/10/2000 (Agence Europe) - The Union has decided to take two disputes with India before the World Trade Organisation, at the end of failed bilateral consultations under the auspices of the Geneva body. The requests for panels relate, respectively, to Indian restrictions on the import and sale of automobiles and the export of certain raw material (leather, raw hide).
