DEUTSCHE POST is finally to pay $754 million instead of the planned 500 million, to increase its stake in the air freight group DHL INTERNATIONAL from 25 to 51%. The acquisition of DHL INTERNATIONAL should in principle be finalised in January, depending on the green light by the competition authorities. See EI of 19 September.
