Parliament approves, with amendments, Directive on marketing of vine plants

Strasbourg, 25/10/2000 (Agence Europe) - By adopting with 417 votes for, 69 against and 19 abstentions, the report by the German Christian Democrat Christa Klass, the European Parliament slightly amended the proposal by the European Commission that aims to modify the 1968 Directive concerning the marketing of material for the vegetative propagation of the vine.
