According to the Financial Times, the British operator VODAFONE is on the verge of selling the Italian INFOSTRADA to the electricity group ENEL for EUR 12 billion. VODAFONE had indicated in September its being "in exclusive talks" with WIND for the transaction (see EI of 14 September).
