Sweden gains Community support of EUR 747 million in favour of education, training and employment

Brussels, 02/10/2000 (Agence Europe) - On Friday the European Commission approved the "Single Programming Document" (SPD) for Objective 3 aimed at promoting education, employment and training in Sweden over the nest seven years. The total budget of this programme is EUR 2.780 billion, of which EUR 747 million is provided by the European Union, 729 million by the Swedish public sector, and 1.303 billion by private companies.
