Commission approves group of measures for training and employment in Spain - EU participates with EUR 2.2 million in funds

Brussels, 02/10/2000 (Agence Europe) - A seven year programme for the promotion of education, training and employment in Spain, financed by the European Social Fund (ESF), was approved on Friday by the European Commission. The "Community Support Framework (CSF) Objective 3" will support all initiatives in favour of human resources in seven autonomous communities of Aragon, the Balearic islands, Catalonia, Madrid, Navarr, the Basque country, and Rioja during the 2000-2006 period.
