SITA (French group SUEZ LYONNAIS DES EAUX, turnover of EUR 1.77 billion in the first quarter 2000), in partnership with the Swedish energy group SYDKRAFT signed an agreement in view of acquiring WASTE MANAGEMENT SVERIGE, the Swedish assets of the American WASTE MANAGEMENT, averaging USD 191 million.
