18/09/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European MP for PASOK Anna Karamanou is organising on 20 September in Brussels, in collaboration with International Rehabilitation Council for Torture Victims (IRCT), a hearing on the rehabilitation of torture victims. Mrs Karamanou recalls that the IRCT estimates at around USD 15 million the deficit of the existing programmes and centres and that the EU budget, since 1994, has a line for organisations helping torture victims with an amount of EUR 6 to 8...
