Commission allows OMV and Rheinbraun to take control of COKOWI

Brussels, 04/08/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has approved the operation by which the Austrian company OMV AG (oil and natural gas) and the German firm Rheingbraun AG (solid fuels), subsidiary of the group RWE (electricity) take joint control of the group Colpack-Kolkos-Wihoko (COKOWI), Austrian wholesaler and retailer of solid fuel and fuel oil.
