ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) energy

The American electricity company TXU will acquired the British electricity distribution company NORWEB ENERGI, put up for sale several month ago by UNITED UTILITIES, through a payment of GBP 310 million. TXU will thus raise to become the second largest energy distributor in the United Kingdom with 5.6 million customers in the electricity and gas sector.
