ECRE calls for absolute respect of principle of no turning back

Brussels, 08/06/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Council on Refugees and Exiles (ECRE) welcomes the inclusion of a provision on the right of asylum in the draft Charter of Fundamental Rights, but calls for the absolute respect of the principle of no turning back to a country where the person concerned could be at risk.
