Brussels, 08/05/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has concluded that the joint venture between DNES (Dynamit Nobel Explosivstoff -und Systemtechnik) and Orica Europe, created to develop and manufacture a new type of detonator for civilian uses (in particular the mining and building industries), is eligible for an exemption from the prohibition on cartels.
