European Commission revises its "internal market strategy" with view to promoting implementation of Lisbon objectives

Brussels, 08/05/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has carried out "revision 2000" of its strategy for the internal market (published in November 1999) in order to promote the implementation of the objectives set by the European Council of Lisbon. Emphasis was placed on priority actions required by the Lisbon programme, mainly in the new technologies and innovation areas.
