Commission approves part of French aid to pork sector

Brussels, 13/04/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has approved only part of the French aid for pig farming. It has banned aid in the form of a staggering of personal social contributions to farmers in difficulties, as well as the partial assumption of interest due on bank loans, taken out by breeders for their initial investments into pig farming.
