Positive Council outcome on "consumer litigation", 'time-sharing" and "package holidays" and on electronic commerce

Brussels, 13/04/2000 (Agence Europe) - The Consumer Council ended in Luxembourg Thursday evening with a positive outcome. The first debate on consumer over-indebtedness (see following article) and the resolutions on the future Community network of amicable settlement organisations for consumer litigation, as well as on time-sharing and package holidays were welcomed by the President-in-Office, Armando Vara as the main advances of the session.
