Fifa and UEFA delegation set out to MEPs problem of football in formulating suggestions

Strasbourg, 13/04/2000 (Agence Europe) - A Fifa and UEFA delegation met MEPs, on Wednesday in Strasbourg, on the sidelines of the European Parliament's plenary session, to discuss the different problems faced by the world of football today and notably the legal situation born from the Court of Justice verdict in the Bosman ruling.

Among the subjects broached are: (1) the possibility of severing at any time by a player of their contract tying them to their club; (2) the role of player agents...
